FAQ

  • Would you travel?

Yes! I will travel to any client near or far.

  • Do you know how to work with older skin?

Yes! In school, I was taught to work on people of all ages, ethnicities, and skin types.

  • Do you use airbrush or traditional makeup?

I love both! Typically I would use traditional makeup for photoshoots because it's a lot easier for touch ups.  I prefer to use air brush for weddings and special events due to its longevity and speed.

  • How long have you been doing makeup?

I have been doing makeup since around 2008.  I was self taught until I graduated from Cosmix in Fall 2013 which was one of the wisest decisions I have made to advance my career.

  • Do you do hair too?

I do light hair.  I can do basic styling and up-dos but consider myself much more of a makeup artist than a hair stylist.

  • What are your prices?

My prices vary depending on the job or client.  Feel free to contact me via email to find out more about pricing.  truelash@yahoo.com

  • What products do you use?

My products vary anywhere from drug store to high end.  I'm constantly renewing my kit to ensure that the best makeup is used for my clients.  Some brands I use frequently are: Makeup Forever,  ColourPop, Temptu, Stila, Urban Decay, Ben Nye, RCMA, Mehron, Kryolan, Maybelline, MAC, Cinema Secrets.

  • How do you keep your kit and brushes sanitary?

Sanitization is a huge deal to me.  Clients should rest assured that I take all precautions to ensure my products and brushes stay clean, even between clients.  I always sanitize my hands before a new person jumps in my chair.  I also use disposables and clean my brushes with 99% alcohol to kill any germs, and give my brushes shampoo baths for the extra love and care ;)

  • Do lash extensions damage your natural lashes?

I am pride myself in keeping your natural lashes as my #1 priority.  You can continue to get lash extensions indefinitely as long as they are applied properly and aren't too heavy or too long for your natural lashes. If you want a look that won't work for your natural lashes, I will discuss with you what we can do instead.  Taking care of your extensions properly also ensures that your lashes stay healthy and we will go over aftercare at the beginning of your service.
